Artist Statement:

The Love of Food:

"Each fruit or vegetable is carefully chosen for its full palette. These foods are from local

gardens, farmers markets and natural food stores.  I enjoy photographing the still-lives in

natural light and up close to compose with a sensual feeling of abstraction.  Photo prints and

oil paintings are then created based upon my photographic portfolio.

My passion lies with this culinary art.  My food art inspires me to prepare natural, good

tasting foods with shapes, textures and colors, making it more fun to eat and uplifts the

whole entertaining experience.  Enjoy the pleasure of eating."
